Nashira Reisch

Nashira Reisch is a mom, wife, artist, and community organizer who lives in Austin, Texas with her husband, who works in the technology industry, and their two children.

She launched a co-housing project in Hood River, Oregon and is exploring how resilient communities are formed and governed.

She has a BA in fine arts from Seattle Pacific University and has studied tropical plants at the University of Hawaii. Besides spending time with her family, she likes to learn about sustainable design in food systems and housing.
