To ensure high-quality publications, we publish relatively few books each year. As a result, we prefer to work with those whose books are already well-written before they reach us. To increase the likelihood that we will accept a proposal and to reduce the time it takes to get a book on the market, manuscripts should be polished and nearly ready for publishing when they are submitted.
